ELF Makeup Brushes Review

Elf Fan Brush - I have always searched for a fan brush but couldn't give in to paying the outrageous prices.

Then I found this brush, it is really great! I really only use it to remove excess makeup or to get rid of loose eyeshadow that has fallen on my cheeks, but it's perfect for the job!

Elf Blush Brush -I used to use the complexion brush as my blush brush, but it's really too big and ends up making my face look flushed all over. As much as I tried to keep the blush in the apples of my cheeks, it just wouldn't work. So I thought I'd try this brush out since I haven't been disappointed in any of the studio brushes. This is amazing! Its soft like the complexion and powder brush, but it is small and tapered so it sweeps the color right where I want it to go. And it's so soft, it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin (Yay!)

Elf Angled Foundation Brush

I had always used disposable little sponges and hated having to keep buying new ones. I found this brush at a local store and bought it because of the good reviews I had read online. It gives pretty, natural coverage and lets me get to the areas in the corners of my eyes as well as close to my hairline.

Elf Kabuki Brush

Overall, it's a great brush. Small, sleek, and very soft! In fact, when I compare this kabuki brush to my MAC kabuki brush, I almost can't detect any major differences. My only issue, however, is that the bristles aren't glued on properly and sheds like a madman! I've barely begun using this brush for less than a week and about 10% is already gone...

Elf Powder Brush

This brush is amazing! I really fell in love with it and I couldn't imagine my life without it! ;) I use it to either buff in my mineral foundation or the studio concealer-highlighter. I have always had problems blending my under-eye concealer but using this brush, it does the job so well! I sometimes even use it to apply blush.

Elf Complexion Brush

Considering the price, this brush is a great one to add to your collection. I'm a bit obsessed with brushes, as I have a ton of them, but I always find myself reaching for this one. I actually originally got this brush to be used with the Complexion Perfection powder. It works great, picks up product well and distributes evenly. Aside from performing well, this brush is very soft (a must for a good brush!). I also like the shape of the brush. If you don't own it already from head on it looks like a regular powder brush, but from the side it is flattened, which I have found is perfect for sweeping translucent powder under my eyes to keep my eye makeup from smearing. Again, a great brush to add to your collection!
Some flaws: This brush sort of attracts dust...although this usually happens with synthetic brushes in general. After washing this brush, it started to fan out a bit, and there has been a little fallout behavior. Its price makes up for its less-significant flaws.

Elf Concealer Brush

concealer brush is a must for me, and this is my new favorite. The brush is soft and makes your concealer application so simple. It deposits concealer evenly under my eyes and on my flaws. Easy to clean and non-shedding are other great features. The brush is a little too long in length - it could be shortened.Other than that, it's a perfect brush for me!
