What kind of paint can you use on terracotta pots?
This is a question a lot of people ask when wanting to paint a terracotta pot. Personally, the best that has worked for me is to use two to three coats of acrylic paints and then follow up with outdoor/indoor lacquer/sealant (applying two coats as well). Another way is to use Patio Paints which can be found at walmart or craft stores for very cheap. I found it online too which is nice it comes in a pack of different colors. It is permanent paint and is weather resistant which is exactly what you want for an outdoor pot.
