ELF Mascara Reviews (Eyes Lips Face)

Regular & Waterproof Mascara Duo Review
It's a decent mascara at a great price. I remember reading an article about how often you should throw out your makeup, the wet ones go bad faster than the dry, and the ones around the eyes are the most troubling, so having such a cheap, good mascara means I can throw out the old stuff without feeling like I am wasting too much.

Last time, I ordered the mineral version (which is still cheap at 3 dollars) but I can't see that much of a difference. This one clumps a little more, but I have an eyelash separator I don't mind using.

ELF Mineral Infused Mascara Review
I really liked this mascara. The brush doesn't have long bristles, but it actually helped in the application by not clumping a bunch of mascara onto your lashes. They also stayed on all day long through work and dinner. At the end of the night, I did have some trouble removing it with my makeup remover (non waterproof one) but mainly because it started smudging onto my face. It wasn't bad at all though. I like how the short bristles of the brush separate out each of my lashes.

ELF Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara
I got this "mascara" thinking it would be good for my lashes, since clear mascara seems better for my lashes as they're already nice and dark. Both sides of the tube have the same type of product, the eyebrow brush is more rectangular-ish and the lash brush is a regular lash brush. It holds my brows perfectly in place though sometimes it feels like its weighing them down. For the eyelashes...it didn't really do much for me. Trying to make my lashes look different with the gel made my lashes begin clumping up, and because the brush is still clear, I ended up finding an eyelash stuck in between the bristles a few days ago (and TBH it freaked me out haha). Bottom line: great for brows, maybe try something else for lashes.

ELF Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara
To me this mascara is just an average mascara, nothing really special about it. On the positive side, it doesn't clump lashes, goes on smooth and evenly. It's easy to remove as well. If your going for a very natural look this might be good for you. I don't really care for the brush, I feel like not enough mascara goes on. For me I don't get enough volume and lengthening. I have to curl my lashes otherwise it looks droopy.

Waterproof Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara Review
The wand on this mascara is amazing. I love the way it applies. The bristles are far enough apart that you don't get those big globs and hunks. The bottle opening is small enough that when you remove the wand, you don't get excess gunk. I've used TONS of expensive mascaras. This one stands up to all of them. I can't believe the price. Two coats of this and my lashes are ready for the day! It stays put too! If anything, I sometimes I have trouble removing it all, but I won't hold that against them.

Max Factor Mascara False Lash Effect Review

When I first saw this mascara online, it drew me in right away because it looks exactly like CoverGirl's lash blast tube. That was absolute favorite mascara for years so I just had to check this Max Factor brand out.

I read some reviews on the Max Factor False Lash Effect mascara and was convinced it would be good. The price was reasonable at around fifteen dollars including shipping.

My max factor mascara arrived about 6 days later and I was pumped to try it. When I unwrapped the packaging it felt and looked just like my other tube as I had expected. This is interesting as to why Max factor felt the need to copy another brand. I LOVE the big wand and the spacing of the mascara bristles. When I first tried the false lash effect mascara it went on pretty good, there were a few clumps but I think it was because I put too much product on the wand. The volume was visible after two coats of the mascara and the on the third coat the length appeared. I was pleased with how my lashes looked after putting it on. I also applied the max factor mascara to my lower lashes and was happy how they turned out. By the end of the first day I had a couple little black specks under my eyes. It wasn't horrible flaking but there definitely was some present. I would still recommend this product but because of the price, I'd say try the other styles of Max factor mascaras.

From the Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara Product Description:
  • All the positive effects of false lashes with a new mascara.
  • Unique Big Brush with patented, thermoplastic elastomer technology and 50% more bristles (vs. Masterpiece Max Mascara).
  • Big Brush contacts and coats more of each lash in every go, sweeping volume right to the tips for length and lift.
  • Volumizing Liquid Lash formula creates a natural-looking array of full-volume lashes.
  • Formula builds volume by allowing the brush to sweep to the tips from the first and each subsequent strokes.

Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara Review

Max Factor Eye Max Factor 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper Mascara
I had never heard of the makeup brand Max Factor until I started researching around online. My previous mascara was running out quickly but I wanted to challenge myself to try a new brand.

I found this Max Factor 2000 Calorie mascara at a discounted price on Amazon with free shipping so I ordered it.
My max factor mascara came in the mail about five days later and I was so excited! I opened up the packaging and realized this tube of mascara looks just like CoverGirl lashblast. What a coincidence, that was my last mascara I had owned! I absolutely love the bristles on the mascara wand and the wide handle. It took me awhile before getting used to the extra large wand but in the end I wouldn't go back! This max factor 2000 calorie mascara went on great when I first applied it to my lashes. There was no clumping and after a few hours there was no sign of flaking either! I found the best technique is to put one coat of this on and wait 45 seconds. Then you should put another coat on focusing the most on the outer lashes so that you will get more length to it. This max factor mascara gives wonderful volume and length in one! The only drawback that I have with this mascara is that it doesn't come off the easiest. Using a little bit of soap or other products will do the trick through. I would definitely recommend max factor to anyone looking to make their eyes pop and sparkle.

Maybelline Volum Express Colossal Mascara Review

I am always looking for the newest brand and styles of mascara at my local drugstore. My lash blast mascara was running almost empty so I made a trip to Walgreens.

I saw that Maybelline was having a mini sale and spotted a bright yellow/purple tube staring back at me! It was called Maybelline Volum Express The Colossal mascara. I bought the darkest shade of this mascara because I like my lashes very black. The price of this mascara was affordable at around eight dollars. When I first applied this colossal mascara to my eyes, it started to clump. I was pretty disappointed but I thought about my favorite mascara which also did that when I first opened it. I thought i'd keep using it and see if the clumping decreased. This Maybelline mascara also smelled really bad which was a turn off. It created volume for my lashes but by the end of the day it seemed to have flaked off a little. I'm not sure if i'd recommend this product to anyone but maybe it could be your new favorite, it's all about personal preference.

CoverGirl Lash Blast Mascara Reviews

Covergirl LashBlast Fusion Mascara Volume & Length

Pros: Lash Extending, Lash fattening, Little to no clumping
Cons: Pricey, Some clumping, Flaking

I bought this mascara about two months ago and was very skeptical because the orange tube was my love for a long time. After having used this everyday, I am pretty impressed with the length it gives my eyelashes but the volume really isn't as great. I think I will stick to the lashblast mega volume mascara OR do one coat of each!

Covergirl LashBlast Luxe Shimmery Volumizing Mascara

Pros: Long Lasting, Good Colors, Easy Removal, Smooth Look, Easy To Apply
Cons: Clumps, Smudges, No shimmer

Great Mascara, goes on smooth and not clumpy and it really thickens and makes my lashes longer, the only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because I didnt notice any shimmer to it at all, but other than that its a good mascara.

Covergirl LashBlast Mega Volume Mascara

Pros: Adds Volume, Doesn't Clump, Applies Evenly, Lengthens, Great Brush, Defines & Separates
Cons:Cannot apply more later, Waterproof brush too skimpy, Difficult to remove

This is an excellent mascara for one who knows how to correctly wield a mascara wand. You do NOT need to remove any mascara from the wand once it's removed from the container. Just roll the wand over the lashes from the base to the tip, thereby evenly covering the lashes. The brush will do the rest. I was incredibly pleased with the appearance of my eyelashes, both upper and lower, after two coats of this product. I also happen to have rather sensitive eyes, and was able to wear this mascara all day and into the evening with no reaction. For the money, I doubt you can find a better product.

Covergirl LashBlast Length Mascara

I like this lashblast mascara because it didn't have too much product on the wand on the first use like many new mascaras (annoying!) so you could get it very even. It also does reach every single lash, even the teeny, tiny hidden ones in the corner of your eyes. The formula is smooth, not clumpy, it's lengthening, not short, and can be applied in more than one layer, which I like. The cons are the applicator is very flimsy....it's a little hard to apply pressure when you're putting it on. And it does seem to contain a smaller amount of formula compaired to other brands. It's a great mascarra for women who like very natural looks or for teens. My 13 year old cousin, who is blonde with light lashes, loves this mascara. Oh, and it's not expensive either, which is always a plus!

Maybelline Falsies Mascara Review

I am a very picky person about choosing my mascaras from the drugstore. My lashes are stick straight and a dark blonde naturally. When I look for the perfect mascara, I search for volume and length -- together!

While I was browsing through my local Walgreens I saw this purple bottle of Maybelline The Falsies Mascara. I thought I'd give it a shot since the price was reasonable (around $7). When I first applied falsies mascara, it went on okay. You will definitely need two or three coats of mascara to get the desired look. But the trick with this mascara is that you can't apply another coat on right away because if you do it will clump major! After applying my second coat of falsies mascara my lashes had more volume and definitely more length...but I wouldn't say it looked like I was wearing false lashes like it claims to. I say give it a try, you really have nothing to lose except a few dollars (Amazon has great prices!)

Product Description:

Maybelline Volum' Express the Falsies Mascara with patented spoon brush and Kera-fiber formula instantly build 8 times more volume without clumping. Unique flexible wand helps to lift and separate lashes to provide the look of 300% more lashes.

Wet N Wild Mascara Review - Mega Protein

Wet n Wild Mega Protein Mascara

Wet n Wild mascara is very easy to apply, and doesnt smudge on your previously applied make up, if you LOOK DOWN while waiting for it to dry. It doesn't clump if you have a steady hand. I have very sensitive eyes, and suprisingly it didnt make it my eyes water like most products. I highly recommend this for first time mascara users and allergy prone eyes.
