Review: Covergirl's Clean Whipped Creme Foundation

covergirl clean whipped creme foundation bzzagent

I am a Bzzagent where I get to try free products and give reviews on them. The latest campaign I was apart of is the covergirl's whipped creme foundation! I got it in the mail yesterday so I was excited to try it today.

Here are my before and after pictures of using the whipped creme foundation. To the left is me fresh out of the shower with no makeup on what-so-ever. The second one is after I applied the foundation. As you can see it is a little light for me but it gave great coverage! As you can see my bruise, dark under eye circles, and acne faded. I applied my regular makeup on after and my face look flawless. One thing I really like about this foundation is that is actually smells GOOD! I kind of think of a yummy almond smell...?!? LOL. Anyways, I would recommend this creamy foundation for anyone looking for some good coverage.

Laura Mercier Foundation Review

I had been looking for a face foundation that would create an illusion that my skin was flawless.

I was in my local store and found a new brand of foundation I had never heard of. The foundation was called Laura Mercier Foundation. To me that sounded fancy and I just had to try it so I bought it that day.

When I got home I cleaned my face and applied moisturizer on first. This Laura Mercier foundation has no oil in it so you have to make sure you dampen your sponge when applying it. The applicator to this bottle is fabulous because you can pump the perfect amount of product out that you need. I believe this foundation would be great for getting your photos taken or for a special event but not for an everyday look. This face foundation felt and looked cakey after awhile which was a turn off. It dries super fast as well so it's hard to get an even coverage on your face if you don't work quickly. After a day of wearing this foundation I had one or two pimples show up! I'm not impressed with this Laura Mercier foundation but would probably wear it during a photo shoot.

Maybelline Mineral Powder Foundation Review

I was looking for a great powder foundation that would not make my skin break out or get oily. I went shopping at Target one day and was browsing through the makeup isle.

I saw that Maybelline was having an awesome sale on their products so I looked closer. I saw the product Maybelline Mineral Foundation and was intrigued by the "mineral" part. It seemed like it would be natural and wouldn't hurt to try it. This mineral foundation was around $8 so I said what the heck and bought it!

As soon as I arrived home I opened the little container and the powder looked and felt like silk! It came with a small brush that was pretty hard to fan out so I threw it away. I bought an ELF brush that was wide enough to cover my face equally. When I applied it to my face it went on great; smooth and evenly. It didn't have a bad smell to it either so I thought it was a keeper. I soon realized when I looked in the light that I had bought a shade too dark for my pale skin, rats! Although I liked the Maybelline mineral foundation quality, I never went back to buy a shade lighter. I am pretty broke so that's the main reason. I am sure if it had been the right color I would of fell in love with it though. I still use this mineral powder foundation in the summer when I am tan but otherwise it just collects dust!

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation Review

I am always on the look out for new foundation products to see if I can find a gem in the drugstore. One day I was browsing through Walgreens and saw Maybelline having a great sale so I checked out that section.

I saw the Dream Matte Mousse Foundation on the shelf which looked like a fun little container (that always drags me in hehe). I purchased this product for a reasonable price around $8 and took it home!

The first time I tried using this matte mousse foundation, it felt like silk when I touched it with my fingers. The foundation is very smooth and creamy which is a plus. I find that this Maybelline foundation is in my top 5 of foundations because it is SO blendable! The only concern I have is when you put too much of it on, then it starts to cake over. I usually put a bronzer on top of this product and it works out very well. This doesn't make my face look oily and it is the longest lasting foundation I've ever bought. I would definitely recommend this dream matte mousse foundation to anyone who is looking for a light look everyday!
